What is Artiprax?
Artiprax is AI-powered veterinary practice management software, built by its two co-founders: Cristina San Pío Solanilla, a practising veterinary surgeon, and Fernando Artiach, a product specialist. You dictate when the consultation ends and Artiprax drafts the clinical report; you review it and save it to the patient's record. It includes patient, owner, appointment and records management, and VeriFactu invoicing for Spain, in every plan.
Is Artiprax a veterinary AI scribe?
Yes, and more. Like a veterinary AI scribe, Artiprax turns a post-consultation voice summary into a structured clinical report within seconds. Unlike a standalone scribe, the report lives inside the patient's clinical record, alongside appointments, owners and search, so the clinic runs on one system instead of two. You can also use it scribe-only and copy reports into your current practice management software.
How does voice dictation work?
When the consultation ends, you open Artiprax on your phone, tap record and talk through the case in your own words, as you would to a colleague, with no structure or script. Within seconds you have the clinical report, with History, Clinical examination, Diagnosis, Procedures performed, and Plan and recommendations sections. It records what you dictated and adds no differentials you didn't mention. You review it, fix anything that needs fixing and save it.

How much does Artiprax cost?
There is a Free plan with no expiry for 1 vet, with full practice management and monthly quotas: 10 AI reports, 30 invoices and 5 clinic intelligence questions. Paid plans are priced per clinic, not per vet: Clínica costs €39 a month + VAT (list €59) and covers up to 3 vets; Plus costs €69 a month + VAT (list €99) with no limit on vets. These are founder prices for the first 50 clinics on each plan, kept for as long as you stay subscribed. Both include unlimited reports under fair use, and VeriFactu invoicing is included in every plan at no extra charge.

What is VeriFactu? Does it affect my clinic?
VeriFactu is the verified invoicing system of Spain's tax agency (Agencia Tributaria): if your clinic invoices with software, that software will have to comply. The regulation in force sets 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for everyone else; on 5 October 2026 Spain's Ministry of Finance announced that it plans to postpone this to October 2028, pending a new regulation. Whichever date applies in the end, Artiprax already has it: VeriFactu invoicing is built into the system, formally declared compliant, in every plan. You activate it yourself from settings: you sign the authorisation with your digital certificate and the AEAT processes it in a few days. Compliance is never charged separately.

Does Artiprax work if I already use another practice management system?
Yes, in two ways. You can use the voice reports alone and copy them into your current system (QVET, Wakyma, Provet Cloud or any other), with no integrations or changes. And if you decide to switch completely, we migrate patients, owners and records with you, by hand; there is no importer. Email us and we'll work out together which data to bring over.

Does Artiprax respect privacy and GDPR?
Yes. Artiprax records after the consultation, not during it: you dictate once the owner has left, so no conversation with them is captured. Audio is not retained after the report is generated. Data is hosted on EU infrastructure and is never used to train AI models. Your clinic is the data controller and Artiprax is the processor: it handles the data only on the clinic's behalf, as set out in section 8 of the terms of use.

Does the AI make decisions for me?
No. Artiprax's AI proposes and the vet signs. Everything clinical, such as the report or anything communicated to the owner, always carries the vet's review and signature. Artiprax takes care of the admin and prepares the important things, but the clinical decision is yours.

Which languages does it support?
You can dictate in 8 languages: Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Romanian and Polish. Clinical reports are generated in Spanish or English. Teams with vets from different countries can each dictate in their own language and keep records uniform.
Does it work for equine, exotics or ambulatory vets?
Yes. Artiprax covers small animals, equine, exotics and production species (cattle, sheep, goats and pigs). Post-consultation recording fits field work especially well: you dictate from your phone wherever you are, and if coverage drops, the dictation is stored and sent when the connection returns.
Is my data locked into Artiprax?
No. Your data is yours: ask for the export whenever you like and you get a complete copy of everything. No minimum term and no penalties for leaving.
Do I need to install anything or know about IT?
No. Artiprax runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. There is no mandatory configuration: it ships with sensible defaults and uses clinical terms, not technical jargon.
